Science, Innovation and Technology Committee recommended the instrument should follow the affirmative procedure Notes

The Science, Innovation and Technology Committee, under the remit of Schedule 7 of the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, recommended that the appropriate procedure for the instrument is for a draft of it be laid before, and approved by a resolution, of each House before it is made.

Scope note: We would expect to see a report by the committee within the 10 days of laying.
